Giulia Tadiello, born in 1993, is an Italian singer, singing teacher and expert in artistic vocology.
Having developed a strong interest in music, she approached the study of singing and piano at a very young age. While still a high school student, she began her academic studies in jazz singing at the Como Conservatory where she graduated with full marks, then completed a master’s degree in jazz singing graduating with honours and honourable mention, with a thesis on the relationship between lyrics and music in European jazz singing.
During the years at the Conservatory, she trained under the guidance of teachers such as Tiziana Ghiglioni, Carlo Morena, Alberto Mandarini, Gianna Montecalvo, Marco Micheli, Dado Moroni, Maurizio Franco, Francesco D’Auria and Cinzia Eramo. She had the opportunity to participate with her project “Glimpses of lives”, dedicated to the music of the saxophonist Wayne Shorter, at the National Festival of Italian Conservatories in Frosinone and was chosen among the students of jazz singing to take part in the selections of the NGO (National Jazz Orchestra of Italian conservatories) at the Milan Conservatory, where she was selected in the voice category.
She continued her training by attending the advanced training course in Artistic Vocology in Ravenna, concluded with a thesis on infantile vocality. She also perfected her skills by studying with Elisabetta Rosa, speech therapist and singing teacher; Davide Scagno, pianist; Jasmine Labianco, singer and master teacher EVT; Serena Ferrara, singer and jazz singing teacher at the Conservatory; Cymin Samawatie, singer and composer.
For years she has been performing as a singer with different groups in events, concerts, festivals and reviews, such as: Eventi in jazz, 67 Jazz Club, Blue Note Milan, Teatro Sociale di Como, Bonaventura music club, Masada, La Buca di S. Vincenzo, “Floreat” – Palazzo Estense, Como Polytechnic and others. She is currently working on her first album, scheduled for release in 2023, managing compositions, texts and arrangements.
